Akashi Suon is a dedicated psychology graduate, having successfully completed his studies in the Spring of 2022 at California State University, Long Beach. Currently in his gap years, he is actively engaged in acquiring valuable research experience, a pivotal step towards his aspiration of enrolling in graduate programs in Clinical Psychology.

Within the research lab, Akashi plays a role of leveraging his expertise in working with heart rate modulation. Proficient in the utilization of coding software such as RStudio, he skillfully adjusts heart rates, enhancing the accuracy and description of the heart rate data.

Motivated by a profound interest in Clinical Psychology, Akashi envisions a future as a psychologist. His ultimate goal is to establish a research laboratory, focusing on the study of individuals coping with trauma and exploring its profound impact on memory and cognitive functions.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Akashi cultivates a diverse range of interests. He enjoys cooking in several cuisines, and finds joy in participating in various sports such as golf, pickleball, cycling, and archery.
