Leslie Rivas-Melara

Leslie earned her B.A. in psychology from CSU Dominguez Hills in 2026. During her time there she took a role as a research assistant in the RAN Lab where she conducted independent projects that helped refine her interest in social determinants of health. Leslie plans to pursue a PhD in developmental psychology to better understand how adverse experiences in childhood affect physical and mental health later in life. Leslie's outside interests include bike riding, watching movies, music, and reading.
